Our Mission

The mission of the Fifth Quarter Talent Trust (FQTT) is to expand access to high-quality

youth development opportunities by connecting underserved youth, families, and

communities with comprehensive educational, workforce, and personal development

programs. Through a collaborative network of experienced professionals and

community partners, FQTT addresses barriers to opportunity by delivering evidence-

informed services that strengthen academic achievement, workforce readiness, college

and career preparation, social-emotional development, and life skills for youth and

young adults ages 8–24.

Driven by passion

Vision

FQTT envisions communities where every young person—regardless of socioeconomic

status or systemic barriers—has equitable access to meaningful learning experiences,

supportive mentors, and pathways to educational, career, and personal success. By

leveraging more than 300 years of combined professional expertise across education,

behavioral sciences, workforce development, athletics, and community engagement,

FQTT seeks to build sustainable partnerships that improve outcomes for youth,

strengthen families, and increase the capacity of organizations serving underserved

populations.

Purpose

FQTT serves as an umbrella organization that develops, coordinates, and supports

innovative initiatives designed to improve opportunities for youth and young adults. Key

initiatives include:

Project RESCUE(Restructuring Educational Support for Citizens in

Underserved Environments): A collaborative network of educators,

behaviorists, researchers, and practitioners providing academic support and

achievement strategies for youth ages 8–24.

The Dynamic Dozen Initiative: A community-based youth development model

that partners with affiliate organizations to deliver standardized and customized

programming in entrepreneurship, career readiness, sports development, social-

emotional learning, college preparation, artistic development, and leadership

training. The initiative also creates pathways for advanced education and

professional preparation for future practitioners.

Through these initiatives, FQTT strengthens the capacity of community organizations

while providing young people with opportunities that extend beyond existing local

resources.
